Administration building with a clear profile for DIN Forsyning

New administration building for DIN Forsyning. The idea was to create a building with strong architectural character, providing DIN Forsyning with a clear profile. The plan of the building takes into account the various activities and tasks of the individual departments in the building. One of the priorities was flexible office areas, so that departments can be moved and change character. The building consists of two intersecting boomerang-like shapes, forming a dynamic star shape as a central hub for all the functions. The two shapes ‘rise’ from the land like slopes in the landscape. The green, oblique roof landscapes promote activities – paths, lookout platforms etc.

In terms of plan, the star structure provides a simplicity with easy way-finding, short distances between functions and optimal opportunities for any future expansion. At the same time, the two structural shapes reflect a fusion of two companies, ‘melting’ into a single dynamic entity. The interior design of the building is all about function and proximity, with the aim of creating an attractive, modern workplace, in which staff satisfaction is top priority.
