A circular extension, which contains rooms for natural sciences, for Viden Djurs’s courses/learning activities.

The building includes laboratories, workshops and theory rooms in the outer rim of the circle, while the central part is a communal space with recreational groups. The top level provides access to a roof terrace, which can also be used for outdoor teaching activities.

From the outside, the white building with its horizontal strips of windows is actually quite modest in appearance. At the same time it makes a powerful impact. Thereby, the characteristic tower shape also becomes part of the schools’ visual identity and branding.

Inside, the two-storey building is surprisingly vibrant, and the round shape really comes into its own. In the building’s central space there is a wonderful view up through the open floors. The staircases are staggered, allowing the volume of the tower to make a maximum visual impact.
