A welcoming environment for patients, relatives and staff
The principal concept for the project was based on a pragmatic, optimal adjustment of the building plot’s complex framework. We have created a clear, welcoming environment for patients, relatives and staff and consolidated the hospital into a distinct structure with an enhanced identity.
Light and nature are incorporated as active elements, focusing on diverse spaces for movement, work, breaks and reflection. The overriding architectural concept is to create a clear architectural environment, in which the building and nature merge into a welcoming, light and integrated structure, generating robust, rational functionality.
