New homes in an attractive green, yet urban environment

Aalborg is currently developing dramatically: from an industrial city to a city of education and culture. In the centre of Aalborg is the former railway goods yard area, which today is evolving into a new neighbourhood with housing, educational institutions, retail and a city park. The neighbourhood has an authentic urban feel to it, and an environment with everything you need in such a central location. In this new district the activities of the past are visible in the cityscape. The railway tracks and the characteristic workshops of the freight terminal with their round arches consolidate and activate life on the site.

The new neighbourhood will now see the construction of three attractive blocks of flats and a hotel in an urban, varied, vibrant design. The three parts will contain a diverse range of dwellings, though predominantly smaller flats with 2, 3 and 4 rooms. The sizes of the flats and their layout are very much targeted at the city’s younger clientele.

Construction will commence very soon and the flats are expected to be ready for occupation in 2019.
