Modular waiting room furniture for wall-fitted or free-standing use

Designed for Randers Radius in collaboration with a group of users and aimed at use in places with great demands in terms of hygiene, cleaning, wear and seating comfort. The design is clear and simple. The width of each module is 60 cm, giving a person plenty of room, for example when the modules are placed in a long row, where there are the options of armrests and side tables. Part of the basic idea of the programme is the self-folding seat, whereby the depth of the elements can be reduced to 30 cm. This is extremely important when space is at a premium: for example, in the context of bed transport in hospital corridors. The structure and hanging principle provide unobstructed access for cleaning under the wall-mounted elements. The metal surfaces are powder painted. The removable seat and back covers are made in fabric that caters for optimum hygiene requirements.
