Timeless and simple design in durable materials

Cone is developed in close collaboration between FRIIS & MOLTKE Design and REWIRED for Frandsen Project.

REWIRED addressed FRIIS & MOLTKE Design with a wish to reuse a cone-shaped lampshade from a lamp series originally designed for a Parisian hotel chain. They wanted to reuse the cone shape in a new, simple and decorative pendant, consisting of a glowing white cone without shadow effect.

"By integrating the LED light source into the aluminum head, we managed to create a simple three-piece lamp without shadow effects. The use of aluminum additionally adds exclusivity to the beautiful lampshade, made of extremely durable polypropylene material. In addition, aluminum absorbs heat from LED light source, which prolongs the lamp's life cycle", says Mikkel Bahr, Head of Design at FRIIS & MOLTKE.

Cone is produced in Denmark and can be placed both individually and in different formations with multiple lamps together.
